Thank you. I’m answering this publicly, because I want to say my inbox is mostly full of positive responses, and I expected some backlash. If there were no backlash, it wouldn’t be a thing that needed to be said.
I’ve experienced a great deal of street harassment, sexual harassment in the workplace, and general sexism in my life, as have pretty much all women. We’re socialized to be quiet about it. To think we’re overly sensitive, to think we have to keep the status quo. What I’m concerned about is responding to it in a way that means I can life with myself. Sometimes that response is silent. Today it wasn’t.
Merry Christmas and Happy Advent!
I JUST GOT THIS GREAT IMAGE OF ST. NICK TEARING THROUGH SUNDAY SCHOOLS UPTURNING TABLES SCREAMING “NO, YOUR GRANDMA IS *NOT* AN ANGEL!” AND “DO YOU KISS YOUR MOTHER WITH THAT PELAGIAN MOUTH?!”
Why am I reblogging this, it’s just the doctor who logo
idk why but i think i’m just gonna reblog this anyway

That’s a pretty cool Doctor Who logo

- one bad test grade does not mean a failed class.
- an unhealthy meal does not make you unhealthy.
- one unkind remark does not make you a bad person.
- one cut, one binge, one purge, one fix does not mean being clean is hopeless.
- one mistake does not make you a failure.
- one million mistakes do not make you a failure.
Transgender Awareness Week just ended …
